MultiLayered Rebranding across Channels


Being seen is a full-body practice, and some ask for full-bodied re-branding. Black Girl Seen is the digital lovechild created by Kalyn Wilson, LCSW, even before she ideated the full suite of Seen Brands. What was once a side project, a love letter to black women in 2020, soon grew to 25,000 followers on Instagram, several coaching groups for black women, and speaking engagements to share the message.

With growth comes change. Kalyn wanted Black Girl Seen to embody the message of being seen, and this meant reinvigorating a brand that positioned visibility as healing. This multi-layered re-brand—from the logo, to social assets, the new website, and the cover art for Kalyn’s debut podcast—filled a once-beginner brand with new, commanding yet comforting energy poised to impact thousands.
